1. What This App Does

Finance me Local is an offline personal finance and subscription tracker. It is designed to run entirely on your device with no connection to the internet, no servers, and no user accounts.

Your data is stored locally on your device, with no transmission capability built into the application.

2. Data Collection

The application does not collect personal data from users.

No name. No email. No location. No usage statistics. No crash reports. No analytics. No advertising identifiers.

The application does not sell, rent, share, or disclose personal data to third parties. It does not include any functionality to transmit data to external parties.

3. Your Data and How It's Protected

All your financial information is stored locally on your device and protected by strong encryption using a password you choose. Without your password, the data is not accessible — including to us.

The app is designed to use your device's built-in security features (Android Keystore) to protect the encryption keys.

4. Permissions We Use

The app requests only what it needs to function:

• Biometric (fingerprint/face): To unlock the app locally. Your biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system and is not accessible to this app.
• Notifications: To remind you of upcoming subscription payments. All reminders are generated on your device.
• Alarm scheduling: To deliver reminders at the exact time you choose.
• Boot permission: To restore your reminders if the device restarts.

No permission is used to access the internet or transmit data.

5. Backups

The app lets you export your data as an encrypted backup file (.vault). This file:

• Is protected by a password you choose at export time
• Can only be opened with that password
• Is stored wherever you choose on your device or external storage
• Is entirely your responsibility once exported

We have no access to your backup files and cannot recover them if the password is lost.

6. Your Rights and Control

You are in control of your data at all times.

• View: All your data is visible within the app
• Export: Create an encrypted backup at any time
• Delete: Remove all data permanently from Settings → Delete All Data
• Uninstall: Removing the app removes all locally stored application data from your device. Exported backup files remain under your control and are not automatically removed.

There is no account to close and no server-side data to request deletion of.

7. Password and Data Recovery

If you forget your password and have no backup, your data cannot be recovered. This is by design — it means no one else can access it either. We have no recovery mechanism and no ability to retrieve lost data on your behalf.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not responsible for:

• Data loss resulting from forgotten passwords
• Data loss resulting from device damage, theft, or factory reset
• Backup files that are lost, corrupted, or become inaccessible
• Any financial decisions made based on information entered into the app
• Compatibility issues arising from future operating system updates

This application is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It is a tool to assist with personal finance tracking — it does not constitute financial advice.

10. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13. The application does not collect personal data from any user regardless of age, and has no internet connectivity.

11. Changes to This Policy

The date at the top of this policy reflects when it was last updated. We encourage periodic review. Material changes will be communicated within the app where reasonably possible.
